At Community Awareness of Drugs we are committed to drug prevention through education working with parents, carers and community workers.
CAD has a long tradition of responding to the drug related education training needs of a variety of groups. Our programmes respond to important issues of drug prevention and misuse.
The Family Focus programme is a six-session education programme for parents, grandparents, guardians, carers and other adults.
The Family Focus Tutor Training programme is a training programme provides community workers, frontline service workers and volunteers with skills, approaches, strategies to deliver drug prevention education.
Working in partnership with community groups, we are able to tailor appropriate drug information interventions to particular needs.
Our staff provides training events with up-to-date information on latest drug trends. Our training is particularly targeted at those working in front line and addiction services & community and voluntary projects.
